    A report on the “Free Iran Rally” in Warsaw simultaneous with the Warsaw Summit

    Free Iran Rally Outside the Warsaw Summit

    Masoud Dalvand(Freedom Star): An informative report on the “Free Iran Rally” in Warsaw, simultaneous with the Warsaw Summit,
    has been published on the official website of the PMOI, which I invite you to read this report.

     Reported by PMOI/MEK

    Warsaw, Feb. 14, 2019 – As ministers and officials of several countries from across the world gathered in Warsaw, Poland, to discuss solutions and road-maps for achieving peace and stability in the Middle East, a large crowd of Iranian dissidents, supporters of Iranian opposition National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), held a gathering to reiterate the need to support Iranian protests and regime change in Iran.

    One of the main themes to be discussed in the Warsaw conference, co-hosted by the U.S. and Poland, is the threats the Iranian regime poses to regional and global security. Many of the attendants, including ministers from the Americas, Europe and Middle East, acknowledge that the Iranian regime’s terrorist meddling in the affairs of its neighbors is a major source of insecurity.

    Washington has also adopted a growing tone of supporting the Iranian people’s struggle.

    “We want the Iranian people to have the opportunity to live in a prosperous, peaceful society, and one that is controlled by their desires, their wishes,” U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in an interview while in Warsaw.

    Along with the top American diplomat, Vice President Mike Pence and White House adviser Jared Kushner are among the attendees, as the scope of the conference focuses on Iran, the Middle East peace conflict, fighting the Islamic State, Syria and Yemen; all frontiers where the Iranian regime is meddling and forelonging the conflicts.

    Reports also indicate Jared Kushner, Special Advisory to U.S. President Donald Trump, held a behind-closed doors discussion over what is said to be Washington’s Middle East peace proposal. The Iranian regime is regularly thwarting peace efforts in the Middle East by funding terrorist groups and inciting confrontations between states.

    Warsaw conference and international delegations

    The demonstrators, who also held a large rally on Wednesday, were there to underline that the Iranian regime’s malignant behavior will only go away when the international community strengthens its resolve against the Iranian regime and supports the millions of Iranians who are fed up with the tyranny of the mullahs and want regime change in their country.

    The conference is being held as Iran marks the 40th anniversary of the 1979 Revolution, which saw the ouster of the Shah regime and the rise of the mullahs to power. In the past year, different segments of the Iranian society have been regularly holding demonstrations across Iran, protesting government corruption, poor economic conditions and lack of freedom.

    Many of the protests are taking on political themes, calling for regime change and criticizing regime officials for squandering Iran’s riches and resources to fuel war in neighboring countries.

    The Iranian regime, hard-pressed to solve its internal crises and its isolation on the international front, has resorted to suppression of protests inside Iran and terrorist activities against dissidents abroad. In the past year, American and European authorities have foiled several terrorist plots by the Iranian regime aimed at members and supporters of MEK in their countries.

    Mayor Rudy Giuliani at the Warsaw rally – February 13, 2019

    “Iran is the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world. We should not be doing business with a regime that supports terror,” said Rudy Giuliani, former New York Mayor and current lawyer to U.S. President Donald Trump, at an NCRI press conference on Wednesday. Giuliani stressed that the Warsaw Summit should be focused on regime change in Iran.

    Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the NCRI, who addressed yesterday’s rally, stressed the need to address the Iranian regime’s abysmal human rights record and side with the Iranian people instead of the ruling mullahs. “From the EU states who have set up a financial mechanism for the Iranian regime, we ask: Why haven’t they found any mechanism over the years to save political prisoners suffering under torture by Khamenei’s henchmen? Why haven’t they set up any mechanism to prosecute the regime’s leaders for the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988, or a mechanism to prevent the crackdown on and arrests of workers, students and Iranian youths for participating in legitimate protests?” Mrs. Rajavi said.

    On Thursday, Iranian protesters in Warsaw were chanting, “Down with Rouhani and Khamenei is the cry of every Iranian,” reflecting slogans that are being chanted across Iran since nationwide uprisings erupted in late 2017.

    The protesters were also chanting, “Democracy, freedom with Maryam Rajavi,” voicing their support for the NCRI and Mrs. Rajavi plan for a future Iran. The protesters demand that the Iranian regime be expelled from the United Nations and the seat transferred to the NCRI, the true, legitimate representative of the Iranian people.

    Mrs. Rajavi has offered a ten-point plan that endorses the establishment of a free, democratic and secular state, where every Iranian is given equal opportunities regardless of their gender, religion and ethnic background. The NCRI also denounces the Iranian regime’s destructive nuclear and ballistic missiles program and its terrorist meddling in other countries.

    The NCRI’s platform, along with the MEK’s history of struggling for the rights of the Iranian people, has established the coalition as the main Iranian opposition movement and the democratic alternative to the rule of the mullahs. Mrs. Rajavi has garnered international support.

    “A major question about regime change is who will replace the regime. We’ve seen that work and go wrong when there wasn’t an alternative. Here we don’t have to worry. We have an alternative. We will have groups of people who feel the same way as we do. Madame Rajavi has a ten-point plan that lays it out clearly. We want Iran to be one of the countries respected in human rights, not one of the worst countries. We want a non-nuclear Iran,” Giuliani said during his speech to Wednesday’s rally.

    “This resistance is rooted in the people and is the only force that is capable of liberating Iran,” said former Algerian President Sid Ahmed Ghozali. “The Iranian threat wants to establish its hegemony over the entire Muslim region. If we want to achieve peace and stability in the world, we have to remove this menace.”

    Iran Terror; The Mullahs Regime is Source of Regional and Global Terrorism and Warmongering.

    The Iranian regime is the source of terrorism and warmongering in the Middle East and across the globe.

    – Designation Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) in their entireties as terrorist entities by the U.S. and the European Union;

    – Expulsion of the mullahs’ MOIS agents and IRGC Quds Force operatives from the U.S. and Europe.

    Now, the world is witnessing how IRGC is a real threat in the Middle East. Looking at the IRGC’s record, we can clearly see the IRGC’s involvement in major terror attacks:

    Facing this global threat, Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), once again stressed on the Iranian Resistance’s demands on behalf of the Iranian opposition:

    1983 – U.S. Marines base bombing in Beirut, Lebanon

    1996 – Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia

    2006 – Al-Askari mosque bombing in Samarra, Iraq

    Additionally, the IRGC is the main supporter of terrorism and fundamentalism and the element behind instability and massacre.

    A number of IRGC global terrorism victims:

    1989 – Abdul Rahman Ghassemlou – Austria

    1990 – Kazem Rajavi – Switzerland

    1991 – Shahpour Bakhtiar – France

    1992 – Mykonos Assassination – Germany

    1993 – Mohammad Hossein Naghdi – Italy

    1994 – AMIA bombing, killing 85 people – Argentina

    1996 – Zahra Rajabi – Turkey

    In parallel with the IRGC, Iran’s MOIS supports plans and executes assassinations against the opposition.

    Iran’s terror apparatus remains active in Europe as seen in recent MOIS bombing plots targeting the PMOI/MEK and a massive Iranian opposition rally in Paris.

    Iranian regime elements arrested in Belgium. MOIS agent arrested for planning terror plot.

    We reiterate Maryam Rajavi’s demands:

    – Blacklisting the IRGC and MOIS in their entirety by the U.S. & European Union

    – Expulsion of MOIS & IRGC Quds Force operatives from the U.S. & Europe;

    The solution lies in standing firm against the Iranian regime’s state-sponsored terrorism.

    Iran Protests, Democratic Alternative(NCRI), And The Warsaw Summit, Has A Message to Iran’s Regime: Overthrow is Coming.

    Masoud Dalvand(Freedom Star):

    Warsaw Summit, which will be held on February 13 and 14, 2019 in the capital of Poland. The summit will focus on the Middle East issues, focusing on the Iranian regime.

    Many of countries from all over the world will attend this summit. Since the announcement of this by US Secretary of State Mike Pampo, the regime of the terrorist mullahs in Iran has shown a lot of reaction, indicating fear of holding such a summit and forming an international coalition against it. Meanwhile, the regime faces political, economic and social crises with the protests and strikes of the Iranian people and an organized resistance.

    The resistance, known for its leadership and platform and its powerful structure, is the democratic alternative of this regime.

    The highly informative editorial of the official website of the National Council of Resistance of Iran(NCRI) is readable in this regard. I invite you to read it.

    Iran Regime’s Fear Of “Iran- Focused” Conference in Poland

    Iran Regime's Fear of U.S. Plan to Host An "Iran- Focused" Conference in Poland

    It has only been 4 days since the U.S. secretary of state announced the upcoming conference in Poland’s capital, Warsaw. Which is planned to be held on 14th and 15th of February by US, and many other countries, but despite the efforts of the Iranian regime to downplay this event, its media platforms expose an actual fear.

    Regime’s hasty reactions to this conference

    Some examples are:

    – On January13th, Iran regime’s Foreign Ministry summoned the Polish chargé d’affaires to lodge a formal complaint about the upcoming conference.

    – The polish film Festival in Tehran was suspended.

    – The deputy of Iran’s foreign ministry, i.e., Araghchi, threatened to destroy the polish graveyard (which has been in Tehran since 1942).

    These extreme reactions show just how frustrated the regime is.

    Poland’s conference could be a beginning of a new global union

    According to Pompeo, tens of countries are going to be attending this conference, from Asia, Africa, Europe, and Middle East; and that “the conference is going to focus on the stability of the Middle East and issues revolving around peace, safety, and freedom; and on ensuring that Iran will not be a destabilising force in the region”.

    The regime has always been interfering with regional affairs as evident by its terrorist activities or threats of nuclear power and so forth; which is why U.S. is going to face it.

    According to the predictions of political pundits, many countries are going to be present in this conference. Moreover, US knows that by holding the conference in Europe, European countries will be forced to choose a side; it’s expected that many will support U.S. over the religious and terrorist dictatorship of Iran. Which is exactly why the regime is very fearful now.

    The consequences of Poland’s conference

    The final resolutions of the conference will remain to be seen; but even if it bears no practical implications, the mere political significance of it will be of prodigious importance since:

    – The appeasement front will be enfeebled, with a probable split among European countries in their policies towards the Iranian regime.

    – The regime will become more isolated than ever, especially in the Middle East region.

    – And finally the resulting consequences of the aforementioned situation will reinforce both sanctions and political backing for U.S. position.

    On January 12th, Washington’s special representative for Iran (i.e., Brian Hook) announced in Abu Dhabi that U.S. will no longer grant ay waivers to other countries, for Iran’s oil sanctions.

    Clearly, the US is not relying on other countries for its sanctions and other approaches against Iran. What US really needs at this stage, is the political support of other countries.

    Poland’s conference and the future of Europe

    It is questionable that contrary to recent Rouhani government’s enthusiasm over the European Special purpose vehicle initiative for trade with Iran, these days the regime officials are continuously expressing desperateness against Europe by stating they have no hope in EU countries anymore! What is so unnerving about the Poland’s conference which has caused this much panic inside the regime?

    In fact upcoming conference must be seen in light of current national and international conditions and constant changes in balance of power against the regime which is also significantly weakened as a result of ongoing nationwide protests and uprising.

    The role of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in balance of power

    The global position of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and NCRI has continuously escalated in importance as American and some European politicians clearly stress over the role of the Iranian people in their official positions especially along with ongoing eviction of the regime’s Diplomat- Terrorists from many European countries.

    Also the regime itself admits to it in its media, in a different way, for instance the state run Arman newspaper, recently published an article (January 13th, 2019) stating:

    “According to our prediction, very few countries will attend this conference and Trump will not achieve what he had previously planned. Other interventions (of NCRI) will also lack political or security significance; and even if they (NCRI) attend the conference it will have negative effects for the U.S and Europeans!

    Reiterating the importance of this conference in another article, the newspaper writes: “if the confess clearly declares that its purpose is uniting the opposition and destabilizing our government, the organizers could be in legal trouble and can be questioned by Iranian institutions including the Foreign Ministry; because they’d be violating the United Nations charters.

    Where the NCRI stands

    On January 12th Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the president elect of the Iranian Resistance announced:

    On behalf of the Iranian Resistance, which has called for an arms and oil embargo against the mullahs’ religious dictatorship since 1981, the President-elect of the NCRI for the transitional period of transferring sovereignty to the people of Iran, reiterated the need to take the following steps:

    1. Recognition of the Iranian people’s right to resistance to overthrow the mullahs’ religious fascism and achieve freedom;

    2. Designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) as a whole as terrorist entities by the U.S. State Department and the European Union;

    3. Expulsion of the mullahs’ intelligence agents and mercenaries of the terrorist Qods Force from the U.S. and Europe;

    4. Referring the dossier of human rights violations in Iran to the UN Security Council after 65 United Nations censures;

    5. Supporting the referral of the dossier of the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran to international tribunals;

    6. Ouster of the mullahs’ illegitimate regime from the UN and recognition of representation by the Iranian people’s just Resistance;

    7. Decisive expulsion of Iran’s ruling religious fascism and its forces from Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon and Afghanistan;

    8. Compelling the government of Iraq to pay compensation for the properties, equipment, arms and camps the PMOI/MEK and the National Liberation Army of Iran (NLA), which had fully paid for them and whose evidentiary documents are available.
